Production Team Leader

As Team Leader, you are responsible for the daily management of the production floor. You keep an overview, make sure everyone knows what needs to be done and intervene when necessary. You work closely with the factory manager and departments such as R&D and Quality to achieve our production and quality goals.

Your most important tasks:

• You coordinate the activities on the production floor and ensure that the planned production runs properly.
• You monitor quality, safety and cleanliness; you ensure that everything is done in the right way.
• You ensure that team members can switch workstations flexibly to prevent downtime.
• You switch quickly and effectively in the event of malfunctions or problems and link this back to the factory manager.
• You identify improvements in processes and help you think about more efficient working methods.
• You check whether machines are functioning properly and address anomalies immediately.
• You help introduce new working methods, technologies or machines.
• You hire new team members and ensure a positive, safe working atmosphere.
• You ensure a clean, organized and safe workplace, in accordance with HACCP and NVWA standards.
• You are the daily point of contact for the team and communicate clearly about priorities and safety rules.
• You regularly consult with the factory manager about progress and areas for improvement.

• MBO+/HBO work and thinking level, preferably in Food Technology, Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2—3 years of experience in a leadership or coordinating role within a production environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Hands-on mentality and solution-oriented thinking.
• Knowledge of or interest in quality and safety standards such as HACCP and NVWA.
• Ability to motivate, guide and create a pleasant working atmosphere.
• Good command of Dutch; English is an advantage.
